What is Local Shopper?

Local Shopper is a service provided by Eastern Light Marketing in partnership with Skoonef Business Ltd for people who live and work in areas where international payment services such as PayPal are not available.

 

How it works

You live in Nigeria and there is a magazine you wish to subscribe to. The publishers are happy to send the magazines directly to you in Nigeria if you pay for your subscription. But there is a problem, many merchants in the UK, Europe and America will not accept some credit cards issued by Nigerian banks. The merchants are willing to accept payment by PayPal, but PayPal is not available to Nigeria. You can pay Eastern Light Marketing in Naira in Nigeria, and we will pay for the subscription for you.

 

What does it cost?

We will charge you 4% of the amount you are paying or £5.00, whichever is the greater calculated at a fixed rate of N265 to 1 GB£ whether or not the rates go up or down.

 

Example: For a £35.00 subscription or purchase, you will need to pay N9,275.00 + Service Charge of N1,325.00 = N10,600.00

 

Please note: If you have a friend or family member in the UK, it maybe cheaper for you to ask them to pay for your purchase and you reimburse them in some way. Local Shopper is really for those who don't have anyone to help them out or for those who don't wish to bother friends and family.

 

If you are interested in using this service, send us an email detailing the product or service you wish to purchase. We will confirm the costs and send you an invoice. We will normally complete the payment for your products or services within 5 business days of receiving your payment.
